IBD Energy is on a mission to develop a cutting edge multi-tenant microgrid for the Roosevelt Roads District. In the near future we will provide clean and reliable power to the surrounding communities outside of Roosevelt Roads.

We think it’s vital for our customers to know where their energy comes from and how it’s generated. IBD Energy will provide our customers with real-time data on the microgrid’s energy mix through its advanced energy management system. 

Through sophisticated Integrated Resource Planning, IBD will ensure there are no power shortages for our customers by outlining our energy resource needs to meet expected electricity demand over a long-term planning horizon. 

We work with industry leaders in clean fuel generation, renewable technologies, and energy distribution strategies to maximize our network efficiencies. 

At our Innovation Center, we’re actively working with the surrounding communities to develop bio-fuel and bio-mass production technologies until we have a commercially viable source reliably supplied at a utility-scale. 

We’re continually striving to improve our working practices to have our electricity from 100% renewable resources. In the meantime, our energy mix will consist of renewable and baseload power sources to ensure resiliency for the Roosevelt Roads District.
